I've just seen the weigh in and for once there was no controversy, with everyone making weight, although Tibau was a lb over but got away with it because he's in a non-title fight.

I can't wait for this fight as I'm a huge Rampage fan plus this is the first US UFC PPV being shown live over here on Setanta.

I'll have a go making picks but I'm not usually very good at them.

Joe Stevenson v Gleison Tibau

After being destroyed by BJ at UFC 80, Joe has to prove that he is still a contender at lightweight. This could be a good opportunity for Tibau to make a name for himself but I can't see him being able to deal with Joe's submissions.

Winner: Stevenson Submission (2nd round)

Tyson Griffin v Marcus Aurelio

I like Tyson as he's had many exciting fights in the UFC but he can never seem to finish off his opponent. I can't see this fight being any different, with it being another exciting and close decision in Tyson's favour.

Winner: Griffin SD

Josh Koscheck v Chris Lytle

I'm not a big fan of Kos I find him cocky and boring to watch. He was completely dominated in his last big fight against GSP and he has to do more to win me over. Saying that, I can't see Lytle being able to deal with his wrestling so I see him being taken down regularly and this being a repeat of the Hughes v Lytle fight. But, if Lytle has worked on his takedown offence or Kos does a Sherk and foolishly tries to stand with a striker then Lytle will KO him.

Winner: Koscheck UD

Patrick Cote v Ricardo Almeida

I like Cote but I don't think he is ready for a title shot just yet. I can't see him being able to deal with Almeida as style wise Cote does not match up well with him. Cote was destroyed by a BJJ black belt (Lutter) at the TUF 4 finale and I see this being a similar scenario, with Almeida being a more dangerous fighter in my opinion. But if Cote has worked on his takedown defence and can keep the fight on his feet then he may have a chance.

Winner: Almeida Submission (1st Round)

Rampage Jackson v Forrest Griffin

I can't wait for this fight. This is the chance for Forrest to prove the doubters wrong. He picked up a huge win over Shogun, but I can't see him being able to deal with Rampage. He looked world-class in his last two fights, showing excellent all round MMA skills including conditioning, proving that cardio shouldn't be a factor in this fight like it was in the Forrest v Shogun fight. Rampage has never looked better and I don't see anything other than a successful title defence.

Winner: Rampage TKO (2nd Round)

My picks are similar to Lex's so hopefully we won't end up looking like idiots tomorrow night.
