Randy Couture v. Kurt Angle?
According to MMA Fightline, Randy Couture told the “Bubba the Love Sponge” radio show today that he’s trying to work out a “submission grappling match” with Kurt Angle. Sounds like it would be better suited for the Olympics than the MMA world. I enjoying watching grappling, but only when it’s tempered with some punching.
No word on where the fight would take place or what the rules would be, but let’s hope it’s not going down at Couture’s gym and being broadcast on HD Net. Seriously, if you saw those exhibition fights on HD Net last week, you had to wonder what the point of broadcasting them was.
Another point–how does “Bubba the Love Sponge” get all these fight-industry guys to come on and say outlandish things like this? I’m sure Kurt will be on next week to respond.
